Terms of Service
1. Who we are
BaroBot ("the service") is an AI language tutor on Telegram (@Baro_AI_Bot) built and operated by Kaal Systems, Kenya (kaalsystems.com). It teaches Kiswahili to Somali-speaking students, with explanations in Somali. By using the service you accept these terms.
2. What the service includes
- A daily lesson with audio, a lesson page, a short quiz and a speaking exercise.
- Chat with Amina, an AI tutor, by text or voice note.
- Practice games and a weekly leaderboard in the BaroBot Mini App.
3. Free use
New students get 3 free tutoring messages and 3 free lessons. The games are free.
4. Paid access
- The price is KES 1,500 for 30 days of access, paid once by M-Pesa through Paystack's secure checkout. Kaal Systems never sees your M-Pesa PIN.
- There is no automatic renewal. When your 30 days end, you decide whether to pay again. Paying early adds 30 days to the time you have left.
- Prices are shown before you pay and may change for future payments; a period you have already paid for is not affected.
5. Fair use
To keep the service fast for everyone, each student can send up to 50 typed messages and 50 voice notes a day (voice notes up to 90 seconds), and at most 3 new lessons a day. Messages that are abusive, illegal, spam, or attempts to misuse the AI may be refused, and accounts that do this repeatedly may be blocked.
6. About the AI
Amina is an AI, not a human teacher. She can make mistakes. BaroBot is a learning aid and does not give official certificates, legal, medical or financial advice.
7. Availability
We aim to keep BaroBot available at all times but cannot promise it will never be interrupted, for example during maintenance or when Telegram or a supplier is down.

9. Changes and contact
We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version. Questions: @coachbinali on Telegram. These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya.
